Wal-Mart: Treat your employees with some respect

Seems like every time I decide to write about something it’s to complain but at least I’m convinced that this is very different. This is a review about my shopping experience at Wal-Mart.
Wife is on her 34th week of pregnancy and we are both almost prepared except a few things to do before our bundle of joy arrives. We went to Wal-Mart Super Centre in Mississauga (800 Matheson Blvd. West) to buy her pajamas. Major intersection is Mavis and Matheson. While we got a great deal on the set, I wasn’t very pleased with the way the express checkout cashiers were being treated by the manager. I’m the most impatient guy in this world, my wife would certainly agree on this but today what I saw was disgusting.  There were about 10 cashiers, almost fully staffed and the line was moving very well and within a few minutes, I saw the manager appear.
He was very short and bald with glasses and he started to rush the whole process. He did not allow the customers to even cash out properly and started calling the next one to line up right behind. I personally thought this was putting a lot more pressure on the previous customers. I would understand if some of them were slacking off or holding the line up but everything was going right. He rushed so much to a point that whilst we waited to pay, the customers behind us were able to get served faster than us because our cashier wasn’t done with the previous clients.
