My Wedding Photo Shoot

I always knew that the wedding and the reception will be a one day event and the only way to remember and cherish that day is through photos and videos. Also, my second brother was a big supporter of this and considering I was the baby of the house, he wanted to make sure everything happens according the way I wanted. I should have mentioned him from the beginning as he was part of the entire wedding planning and ensured everything I ever wanted took part. And of course, he threw in many surprises on the day of the wedding which I will mention in later posts. The photo shoots, photos on the actual wedding day, album etc. were a gift from my brother and he wanted to make it as fun and exciting as possible.  My fiancĂ© and I decided to do photo shoots in all four seasons and started with our first shoot in fall of 2010. We chose Love Birdz Photography as he was out photographer for out engagement reception and we were more than satisfied with his work. Our first shoot was at a couple of different parks and we were able to get many beautiful pictures. A couple of weeks after, we also went to a beautiful Armanian church and took some pictures there. Winter was giving us trouble as we my fiancĂ© and I were not able to coordinate a time with our busy work schedule and considering it was mild winter, we did not have too many days with fresh snow. Just when we thought winter was not going to be possible, it snowed out of nowhere on a day where we were available and contacted the photographer. He was willing to come for the shoot the following day even with such a short notice and we got amazing pictures in the fresh white snow. For spring, we went to park/garden with beautiful trees and Japanese cherry, lake shore and a sun rise shooting at 4am in the morning.
Last but not least, I always wanted to do a photo shoot on a boat and my brother’s boss was willing to take us on his boat for a photo shoot. The boat itself was so comfy and nice and we went close to CN Tower during sunset and snapped tons of pictures. Although I was excited about photo shoots at the beginning, by the end of the countless shoots I was ready to say good bye to photo shoots for life and decided that we have taken enough pictures. Then came the daunting task of having to go through 1000’s of pictures and selecting about 200 to be used on the picture frames, life sized picture banner, surprise guestbook, slide show and the album.
