My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting the newly built maternity ward at Credit Valley. I asked my wife earlier to look into the possibility of the guided tour to ease my tension. I wanted to be absolutely prepared as she is already 28 weeks pregnant. A quick call was made to thehospital maternity line at 905-813-3950 and to my surprise; they stopped the guided tour as of February 2012. I’ve done search myself and found that they instead opted for virtual Tour.

We went to the hospital around 6:20pm and walked in through the emergency section and just had to follow the red dots that will lead you to the maternity wards. It’s a newly built section but I was quite surprised with the elegance and the appeal it had. I’m the type that freaks out even for little things and the last thing I want to do is to stress my wife out when she’s about to give birth. Walking through gave me a peace of mind that there won’t be any element of surprise when the time comes. I have included some of the pictures taken at the hospital. If any of you find the virtual tour links, please feel free to share it with us. What was your experience? Am I the only father who did this? I would like to hear your side of the story.
