Invitation card, centre piece, wedding favour etc.

I wanted my wedding day to be perfect yet within our budget. And I guess it was good that we started our wedding planning more than a year ahead as it allowed us to shop around and find quality items at a good cost. I o   rdered for my invitation cards in Sri Lanka and my uncle who lives there took care of it and we were able to buy the invitation cards at a cost of approximately 50 cents each. We also purchased a matching cake box for about 20 cents and were thrilled with our selection. For centre pieces, I wanted to get flowers and decided to buy our own since the price of renting was almost the same as buying. Once the decision to buy was made, I thought of other options than fresh flowers

This will allow us to give it away to our guests and it can be kept for a longer time than fresh flowers. I shopped around and came across beautiful nylon flowers and decided to go with it. I made an appointment with a store that makes them and the owner made couple of designs and we chose two designs that appealed to us the most. I also provided her with a swatch for our colour theme and the sample flower looked amazing and we instantly fell in love.Last but not least for our wedding favour I looked around online and came across a candle with two hearts and found a deal on eBay and purchased it right away. All of these together were bought at a bargain and added to the highlights of our wedding day. I know I like to blab a lot about my wedding day, but I would also love to hear all of your stories..so feel free to share!!
